I completely forgot it was on.
I just checked out the results online.
It's great to see Heath Ledger get best supporting actor, he really deserved it.
Sean Penn and Kate Winslet were also my picks for lead actor and actress.
I'm kind of torn on supporting actress; Penelope Cruz was good, and hot
The one that continues to baffle me is Slumdog Millionaire.
I just don't get what everyone finds so incredible about this movie. It's entertaining and worth a watch, but nowhere near best picture material in my opinion.
It would have been last on my list of the nominees.
I think Milk was by far the best picture of the year, but then again what do I know?

Not bad this year.....the last few years I either fell asleep or wanted to smash my tv in.
The award and gesture to Heath was cool; Sean Penn and Kate Winslet were deserving; Marisa Tomei I thought should have gotten it but she did win for MY COUN VINNY so Penelope Cruz was cool. Her little speech about art was good too. And yes...she's a hottie
For best pic it was a toss up to me really. Any of them would have been ok with me.
BTW how funny was Ben Stiller's bit as the loony toons Jaquin Phoenix?!?!
oh my hottie of the night awards:

I somehow knew Health would won for supporting actor to Kate winning her best supporting actress. I am impressed with all the winners. I am not sure about the movie about the guy in Slumdog millionaire. I never seen the movie myself. I love to go party with any of stars after the Oscars.

Honestly, I think it was one of the worst shows they've put on in a while . . . I'm always pumped to watch the oscars but this year I was completely bored out of my mind

I HATE the Oscars. There is nothing more dull than watching a bunch of overpaid, pompous idiots slapping each other on the back.

^^^ yeah its kinda weird. I watched them nce i was a kid because of my mother and grandmother so as much as the oscars usually do suck I'll watch. Humans are funny though....the patting each other on the back thing goes on in EVERY industry; every clique; every office......just human nature I guess.
I think i liked the Oscars a bit more this year because Wolverine was A LOT eaer to watch then debacles like Whoopy or Chris Rock.

I enjoyed what I saw.
My one complaint is that the results were predictable.
