Ghostbusters 3 to start filming in Fall 2009?

Last anyone heard, Office scribes Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitski were working hard trying to pen a new Ghostbusters flick. We haven’t really heard much about the project nce last year when those details were revealed, and I just assumed that they couldn’t make the script work.

Well it appears that the project is still moving forward and according to Dan Aykroyd, who appeared in Boston this weekend for the opening of a new House of Blues, they “hope to be in production by late fall 2009″. That;s an exact quote from the Boston Globe (via: AICN). Wonder what he means when he says "HOPE"?

Are there plans to bring the original guys back? Id SOOOOO love to see a new Ghostbusters with da OG's!

Hmmm Don't think so. Dan Aykroyd is a kind old to make a new movie as well.

Same thing to Bill Murray, that's like Santa with his white beard...



And if I'm not wrong, Murray said some time ago that don't like the idea of a new Ghostbusters....

FROM WHAT I HEARD IS THAT ITS GOING TO BE NEW CHARACTERS. BUT WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE.

I'll probably see it just because Im a fan of the franchise, but I would love it if the brought the original guys back. Hey even if they make cameos I'll be satisfied.
