Original Nightmare Freddy sideshow

Hey, I'm pretty new here. I was wanting your guys opinion. All of my deshows are out of the box and I display them. I just ordered a Nightmare on Elm Street Freddy deshow that is gned by Robert Englund and its gonna kill me not to open it just because its gned. What would you guys do?

collect something for yourself not because of future value

if you are worried about future value buy a savings bond instead

just my 2 cents

welcome to the forum!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to agree with Johnny as well. Your a die hard collector and you want it out of the box. I think if you don't take it out you loose just how cool it is having it in your collection. It will always be worth to you if no one else....

welcome to the forum, we hope you like what you see. Hope to see ya around often. Hit me up if you need a banner made or custom avatar....

Damn, I thought you shouldn't open it, dude. Not for value, but for the Englund gnature. Is something not too ez to get, so keep it on the box, it's the same visual impact...

I met Robert Englund a couple years ago and he autographed a picture of Freddy for me. I have it framed. So I already have an autograph from him... I'm still wondering what I should do.

Yeah. The box is gned. I keep all of my boxes. So you think I should just do that? More opinions please. It hasn't gotten here yet.

Well, why dont you just buy another one that is not gned.

mple...Keep the one gned and boxed up and keep it in a safe place.

The other one you can play with and whatever you want....

I'm with Evildsm on this one.

Buy another one to open.

Display the gned edition in the box.

Welcome to the forum...I think if you want to open it by all means...i was never able to just "keep it in the box" it ruins the whole joy of it but I also agree if it's that hard a choice just buy another you can enjoy.

These are sort of hard to find now. They are pretty expenve when you do find them. I got this one for a good deal at $96.

Welcome Im a keep it in the box dude....i keep all my figures boxed just because i like the way the display looks better than loose figures. Its rare and its gned....keep that one boxed bro! ;)

I'd say open it, display the box with the figure.

It wouldn't damage anything, and you could always put the figure back in the box in the future.

You get the best of both worlds this way.

Hey guys. I just wanted to let you know that I got ripped off. It is not gned. So this whole thread is pretty much useless.
