Frankenstein (1931)

Finally got to watching Frankenstein today and I must say I really enjoyed. Although, my only gripe would be that it lacked a score. Also, I really liked the portrayal of Henry Frankenstein. Colin Clive was truly nutty.

Yeah this movie is really great! Boris Karloff is the best!

But if you asked me I would say the best frankenstein movie is Bride of Frankenstein. But Frankenstein from 1931 is also cool - it is clasc!

I'd really like to see Bride of Frankenstein. I should have bought the Legacy Collection set for like $5 more than just this one movie.

Clive was truly over the top in this one and it really worked. His Henry was more subdued in Bride (1935) but that was mostly due to the fact he had broken his leg in a horse-riding accident and had to spend most of the movie tting down. Sadly he died two years later.
