Rooney Mara Cast as Nancy in Nightmare on Elm Street Remake

Rooney Mara (The Winning Season, Dare, Youth in Revolt) is in final negotiations to play the lead role of Nancy Thompson in Platinum Dunes’ remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. So there we go.

Interesting choice. She's very cute, and comes from a family that knows football.

She's pretty young, I think only 20 or so also. And it'd only be right to cast a young girl on her way up to play in a horror movie, just like Langenkamp.

No complaints here....

I just hope the remake doesn't suck...lol
