What Are You Afraid Of...

What is youe deepest darkest fear? OR What part in a movie scares the living crap out of you?

For me, my imagination is what gets me scared. When my mind starts thinking about what "could" be there, or what "might" happen, I start getting creeped out.

Also... The Exorst will always reign as my all-time terror.

i have to say a couple of years ago, the texas chainsaw massacre 2003 creep the holy moly out of me!

I'd have to say the things that go through my own head or ever seeing something bad happen to my kids. Having seen all the stuff I have in the past not much scares me.

Yeah... watching horror movies constantly sort of builds up an immunity, but there are still those things you see that make you want to scream and run away!

I would have to say, my own imagination. If I let my mind wander, it freaks the

heck out of me what runs through there sometimes.

Heights, for sure. I get scared shitless from being up high. I just started picturing in my head the fall.

Waaaaaaaay back in the day, I used to be scared of Michael Myers. I remember one year I went with my family to Canada and there was a criminal hall of fame wax museum that we went to, and one of the displays was Michael in some backyard staring through the window. I don't think I have ever been so scared.

There is too much crazy stuff that goes on inde my mind for me to not get the chills. I never liked the dentist either. You can't trust a guy who goes into your mouth...you can't see what he is doing and his tools suck!

I can't think of one person who doesn't mind the dentist. It's their job to be creepy.

HAHA. Not to harp on the same thing all day, but I totally agree. Only I think you're forgetting someone...

I think that "IT" creeped me out when I was young... but bedes that I don't think I ever had a fear of clowns. I know people that are well in there 30's and are still terrified of them. I can't believe how common that fear is.

Why are little girls so damn creepy? I don't know what it is, whether it's from the movies I've watched growing up, or just something about them. Fact is... they're spooky.

The Dentist movies creeped me out! Plus kids in horror movie scare me as well, i work with kids and know what they are capable

of which is terrifying. Zombie are a little scary but strangely hot! I dream of ripping off flesh and eating people in the heat of the moment, that would be fun!

Hmm... when there's a zombie outbreak (and there will be one) stay away from me.

I think the thing I am most afraid of is not knowing what the future holds. It is exciting but at the same time you never know when you blink your eyes if all hell might break loose. Oh and Hobbits, there just creepy.

Oh and Hobbits, there just creepy.I used to feel the same way. But then I realized that as humans, we have absolutely no control over what might happen... so there is no sense in worrying. Just live and take care of yourself... that what I try to do.

I hate to admit this but in horror movies, less is more as far as I'm concerned.

I think the unknown and is much scary and the less the show the "antagonist" the scarier it is for me.

My imagination runs wild with ideas then when they show the killer and then more and more it becomes less scary as I become more desentized.

I couldn't agree more! The less you show what's scary, the more people will try to imagine what it will be like. In clasc style horror movies, the way to get your big scares is to wait... and wait... until the audience is on the edge of there seat... then BOOM! I wish more people thought like that... maybe then we wouldn't have all these dumbass new movies that show the killer more than the potential victims.

Finally...people who get it!

The imagination conjures things to fill in the unseen which are far more terrifying than anything a filmmaker can put on the screen. Sad that today's filmmakers have forgotten that.

As for what scares me, the fact that Britney Spears is able to have more kids is up there on my list.

Well it's good to see that there are people out there who know how things really are. It seems that horror movies have gotten worse as time goes on... which really seems like it should be the other way around. But that leads me to believe that one of two things will happen: Either they will continue to get worse and worse, or we are in for a big rebound in movie quality. I sure hope it's the second one!

As for Britney Spears... I don't think men are going to be interested in her when they find out that she used to be a midget.

It seems like everything I was afraid of when I was younger, I'm a fan of now. Like, for example:

I was scared senseless by Michael Myers, and I used to be afraid of Michael Jackson's Thriller video (now I'm in love with zombies).

The list of my fears turned faves goes on forever... I'm just curious as to whether or not this is the case with anyone else...
