The NEW PSP Go

This is the new PSP. It's called the PSP Go. . . .

because it's portable.

* 3.8-inch display (resolution is undisclosed) * 43 percent lighter than the PSP-3000 * 16GB of Flash storage * Bluetooth built-in; supports handset tethering and BT headsets * No UMD drive * Memory Stick Micro slot * New Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet and new Metal Gear Solid (!) on the way * Full PlayStation Network support (movie and TV rentals / purchases) * Integration with PlayStation 3 (works the same as the PSP-3000 does) * Sony views each of its products as "10-year lifecycle products," so the PSP "needs to live on."

it looks cool and all, but with no UMD drive, how are games going to be bought? Will everything have to be done online now? That would really be alienating all the kids that either don't have internet access, or have very limited access.

take care, Tommy

yeah Tommy from what I've read in Game Informer they are getting rid of the UMD format but I didn't think that meant scrapping hard copies of games all together. Doesn't seem like a good buness decion to leave out all those without wireless access...
