Our good friend Harry

I found this online and thought you guys may like the tid bit of info from this article.

Friday the 13th score composer Harry Manfredini's master stroke, the invention of the "ki-ki-ki ma-ma-ma" sound effect, was inspired by the works of composer Krystoff Penderecki, who used random-syllable choral effects in some of his works. Here, Manfredini wanted to suggest that Mrs. Voorhees "heard voices," and those voices were syllabic abbreviations of "kill" and "mommy. This effect has been used in every Friday the 13th film and even though Manfredini did not compose Friday the 13th part 8 (the only F-13 movie he didn't compose) Manfredini still gets film credits for the trademark sound effect....

I thought the sound effect was always cha cha cha ka ka ka but this clears that up, Harry your the man!!!!

HAHAHHAHAHA ^^ we so did. I just wasn't so sure he actually created the sound effect. I knew he composed the muc but this is the icing on the cake. We freaking had a 30 minute joke fest with the guy that created one of the most recognizable sound effects in the cool is that!!
