First off, I want to give credit to Joey from the NO boards for these links.

All I can say is Good God....

The technology is absolutely stunning. But..it completely creeps me out at the same time. Scott aka Puckface mentioned about how he figured people were gonna go overboard and even fall in love with some of these characters and I completely agree on this one. People are gonna take this way too seriously. Just look at all the stuff that happened with Everquest and WOW. Take all of that and multiple it by 1000.......

one other thing...if this is the trend of the future...say goodbye to the fat armchair gamer...

take care, Tommy

I'm still not too sure about Natal.

Sure, it's cool technology, but I think it's more of a novelty.

I'd be ck of it after a few minutes.

I saw this on G4 a week ago.

It's impresve and I think it shows a foreshadowing of where we can expect gaming to go in the future but I'm a HUGE first person shooter gamer and there's nothing that can take the place of a mouse or controller (not that I've seen yet). These new systems and ideas are about getting people active (which I'm all for) but there's something about just being lazy, laying on my couch with a controller as opposed to stand up and swinging my arms around.

i am a fan of first person shooters as well. But.....it is a very cool thing being able to play House of the Dead on the Wii with the light gun. It really feels like you are shooting them.

I also think that controllers are eventually going to be a thing of the past within the next five years or so...at least the controllers as we know them. Controllers now have already changed so much, not counting the Wii. The ps3 controllers are now being used in a way that tastes of this new technology, having to move the controller up and down and back and forth in order to play a game....it is coming...it is just a matter of time.

man Tommy, I wish I had a Wii because I heard House of the Dead kicks some major arse! They said it has a really old school almost grindhouse feel to it, is it that good?
