KIRK CONVERSION

This is the first mask I have painted up. I did the eyes and hair as well. I hope you guys like it.

that looks cool. there are less and less mccain kirks floating out there. does anyone know how many exactly are left from the original run?

That's an interesting question...there were 20 numbered copies plus 5 protos...9 of those were converted before they left Sam's shop...there have been a number of converons nce so I think you could safely say less than half are still around.

Sure is!!! and I would geuss there is only about 5 left... Lee has 2 and Justin has 1 or had one of them? Not sure if he still does or not, but there is 3 of them that I know of that arnt converted...

I bought two Kirks and had one converted by Sam. Now both are Myers. There has been some on ebay lately selling for half of what I paid for each of mine so I will pick up a Kirk and keep that one. I converted this one because I already did the hair so I thought why not do the whole thing and get another for cheap when it pops up. I also know Paul still has his prototype Kirk. I believe both of mine are prototypes as well. My converted Kirk I bought from Sam is #P5 on the inde and the tags on the mask says Kirk. My mask pictured in this thread is #P2 Kirk.
