I had both of these show up.
Frank is from VXX and the Nosferatu is an old DP.
Sorry for the shitty cell pics, but I'm moving tomorrow and the camera's packed away.
Hopefully I'll be able to do some collection shots in a week or two

Great stuff!
I noticed that the Frank is no longer listed on Darrell's page.
I wonder if he's been retired already?

You don't see many of those 800 line Nosferatu masks around anymore...nice find

i hear a lot about the don post 800 line. what is the history behind that and when did it come out? it seems as if everyone is in agreement that is a great line of masks i just wonder what made them so special. thanks to anyone that can help.

I stand to be corrected but here's my take on their appeal.
In the 60s and 70s DP released three lines of masks...the 150, 800, and 1200 lines. They initially got their names from the dealer price per mask...$1.50, $8.00, and $12.00. The 150 line were your really cheap dime store masks milar to the Topstones. On the other hand, it wasn't easy to convince one's folks to spend the cash for the deluxe 1200 line masks (the calendar masks were the 1200 line). As a result, most of us grew up with the 800s and that nostalgia is what makes them special to a lot of current collectors.

Thanks for the info Lee. I had been wondering where they got the numbers for the lines

Yes, thanks for the great info Lee.
I knew a little about the 150 and 800 line, but I didn't realize that the calendar masks were part of a milar line themselves.
It's funny, I used to shy away from masks with sculpted hair, but now the last seven or eight masks I've gotten haven't had a strand of real hair on them.
I can't get enough of these things.

I know what you mean gummi, I'm starting to like sculpted hair more than the real stuff
