This was on AMC earlier tonight and I got a chance to finally watch it. I have never seen this veron before (the one with Jeff Goldblum). I had seen the 50's veron a long time ago but dang this is a really good flick. Goldblum kind of grates on my nerves but other than that it has some great 80's effects. The Fly 2 is on now, so far it hasn't been very good. someone needs to buy this guy a drink....

This movie it's from 50's? I remember to have seen Fly 1 and 2, but didn't remember this freak bug... I agreed with the drink and solar stream, too..

The Fly was a great movie, I loved how they handled the transformation.

And I love how he treats it as an experiment the entire time, he never freaks out about it.

Goldblum was at his best here, even Gina Davis wasn't annoying. The original movie was good too, a clasc..

"Help meeee...Help meeee...."

Reminds me of that story from Kafka, where Mr Samsa turns into a giant bug.

Ok, agreed, it's clasc; but also is disgusting to see him take his ears off... It's freak!

I didn't mind the second one.

Granted, it wasn't as wonderful as the first one, but I really liked the ending.

Then again, I saw it about 15 years ago, so I might be making a fool of myself here.

I remember shedding a tear when I watched Fly 2.

I seem to remember it was something to do with his dog. That's all I can remember, well that and how bad it was. I liked the remake and think the bit at the end of the original one where he's stuck in the web and shouts "help me" is really creepy!
