THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON....

LOL! I have had more people PM'ing me about my banner than any other one I have ever had. And I really feel the movie Behind the Mask has some hungry fans. Fans that want a good Leslie Vernon mask. Scott also mentioned and I never really thought about it that way, but the movie Behind the Mask and this forum kind of go hand and hand. Horror and comedy.

me either but Scott was right on the money with that. We need this mask, I would LOVE to have it in my collection and Scott said he knows at least 8 people ready to jump on this. I would buy this mask (LOVE THE MOVIE) Yeah the movie was great! One of the best I've seen in a while. I've wanted to do the mask for a while now.

Man I got cash in hand for one of these masks. I know people who keep asking me if they are ready yet. I mean the movie was so good and the mask was original as far as looks. I think leslie is iconic in his own right. I love that movie guys.

Casey if you are making one count me in man. I want to snag one from mac as well if he is still selling these.

I can see if you walked into the theatre and thought you were gonna see the next nightmare on elm street or somehting but this was a spoof movie that turned into a horror movie.

I've actually noticed this trend by talking with people online that past few months.

You rather heard all about it and people build it up to you like its the next greatest horror movie to ever be made then you see it . . . .and you HATE IT.Or you could be like me, who heard hardly anything about it and didn't expect a thing and walked in and you were completely blown away and you really LIKED IT.

That's what happened with me. I had spent months reading how great it was and to be honest the hype was built up so much no movie could live up to it. Had I seen it when it was first released and had no expectations I probably would have been a huge fan.

As it was I thought it was a good movie but still couldn't help feeling let down.

I slept on this one. I saw it on the shelf and thought the mask and story was cool then bought it. We went back to the garage to work and have some beers and we all loved it. I thought the movie was clasc man. I would explain it as a comedy horror movie. If you like evil dead you would probably like the behind the mask movie as well.

Well I bought it and watched it....the killer is too small and geeky to be believable......I'm on the fence with this one...

I think the big thing you have to remember with this movie is that it is a spoof. I thought it was done really well and is one of my all time favorite underground hits.
