Below is a new film distributing by our friends at Bloody-Disgusting and The Collective, YellowBrickRoad. It reminds me of something like THE RUINS. It seems creepy and really injects some psychological horror elements into the trailer. I can defiantly see myself watching this. This is the second film that Bloody-Disgusting has selected for something there calling, "Bloody-Disgusting Selects", which has to do with distributing films to a limited amount of AMC theaters.
YellowBrickRoad, the second theatrical horror feature that'll premiere at select AMC locations on June 1 (theater listings inde). YellowBrickRoad, from Jesse Holland and Andy Mitton, stars The gnal's Anessa Ramsey in a very noisy chiller that "begins in the Fall of 1940 where the entire population of Friar, NH abandoned their homes and walked up an ancient trail, never to be seen alive again. Their fates have remained a mystery for over 70 years, until a team of researchers discover the trailhead and attempt to track the path the doomedcitizens of Friar took."
YellowBrickRoad is a return to the slow burn, character driven horror thrillers of the '70s.
