Troy Nixey's Don't Be Afraid of the Dark is gaining serious steam as it surges toward it's August 26th theatrical release. Just yesterday we dropped a few new TV spots for the flick, and now we've yet another video nailed down for you. You'll have to head over to imdb.com to check this fourth clip out, which features some creepy interaction between little Sally Hirst and the mysterious things tucked away in the bowels of her father's new humble abode.
Don't Be Afraid of the Dark features on screen talents, Guy Pearce, Katie Holmes and Bailee Madison.
The pic follows Sally, a young girl who moves to Rhode Island to live with her father (Guy Pearce) and his new girlfriend (Katie Holmes) in the 19th-century manon they are restoring. Having stumbled upon the manon’s hidden basement, Sally starts hearing voices calling out from the bolted ash pit, imploring her to open it. Sally obliges and unwittingly unleashes something so terrible, so unthinkable, that everyone’s life – hers most of all - is placed in immediate and grave danger.
