Plot Synops: During his studies with the local doctor (Stephen Rea), Daniel (Guy Wilson) witnesses the horrific consequences of werewolf attacks. Watching as the beast's fearsome reputation draws bounty hunters, thrill seekers and charlatans to the tiny town, Daniel dreams of destroying the ruthless predator. So when a mysterious stranger (Ed Quinn) and his team of skilled werewolf hunters (Stephen Bauer, Adam Croasdell) arrive to pursue the monster, he offers to join them, despite his mother's (Nia Peeples) protests.

But it soon becomes clear that this creature is stronger, smarter and more dangerous than anything they have faced before. Personally, I loved The Wolfman & thought everybody involved did a great job .. even if it wasn't DelToro's most emotive performance.

This looks like a pile of lycan crap in comparison!

I actually just got into an argument with a friend about The Wolfman the other day. I honestly did not feel it was as terrible as most people seemed to feel it was. Ade from the whack ending battle, underdeveloped story elements, and (most of all) criminally unfortunate lack of practical effects, I thought it was a decent homage to a lot of clasc Universal monster elements with just the right amount of modern day gore.

This new film looks pretty awful by comparison. Before the trailer even said so, I knew it was fated to be direct to video based on how cheap the overall production looks. However, nce I am a sucker for just about any horror film I will probably seek it out on NetFlix at some point.

Loved the 2010 movie but this looks like a SyfY turd.

It's going to be all action and zero story.
