3-minute Fan Made TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE Horror Short THE CHICKEN RUN!

With the excitement of a TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE prequel to the original film titled LEATHERFACE being created as we speak, Chain saw fever seems to really be catching on. One such case we just had to share with you.

Special effects master Gary J. Tunnicliffe has put his talents to work on films such as 2009's MY BLOODY VALENTINE, CANDYMAN, BLADE, HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION and WISHMASTER.

Tunnicliffe is a huge fan of the 1974 Tobe Hooper classic TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE. So much so that he has written and directed his very own fan film on the subject which is titled CHICKEN RUN. Clocking in around three minutes and shot in one day, the short pays homage to the look and feel of the original film thus giving Leatherface life once again. Head on down below to check it out.

Synopsis:

"For Crissy, waking up was the beginning of the nightmare, discovering her hands and feet bound, her body drenched in sweat from the brutal Texas heat and her brother Bobby, clinging to life impaled on a nearby meat hook. These were the 'visible clues' to Horror that lay ahead, the 'audio clue' was the growing sound of a revving chainsaw getting louder and louder, closer and closer, only hinting at the terrifying fate and formidable aggressor on the other side of the ominous, gleaming metal door of the room in which she was trapped...and then the door opened."
