A while back, we got our first full look at the new Pennywise and needless to say, it certainly has certainly got people talking. We just recently brought you some new imagery from the film and today the official trailer has finally arrived. Head on down below to check that out.

With a solid R-rating on the way, the current cast for the new IT adaptation is made up of Nicholas Hamilton, Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Owen Teague, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Javier Botet and Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise the Clown.

With the new IT project being planned as two separate films, we can expect to see the point of view from the kids in one film and the other film being that of the adults.

The book was previously adapted by Tommy Lee Wallace as a 1990 two part, three hour event miniseries on ABC, starring Tim Curry as Pennywise.

Original Synopsis for IT:

"It’s a small city, a place as hauntingly familiar as your own hometown. Only in Derry the haunting is real… They were seven teenagers when they first stumbled upon the horror. Now they are grown-up men and women who have gone out into the big world to gain success and happiness. But none of them can withstand the force that has drawn them back to Derry to face the nightmare without an end, and the evil without a name."

September 8th, 2017 is the current release date for Part 1 of the new adaptation of Stephen King's IT.
