What a fun night it was. Joel I am sure will be filling this with even more pics. I wish every night could be Halloween....

HAHAHHA! Thanks K! We had a blast. We carved over 20 pumpkins, passed out glow necklaces and full ze candy bars to the kids. Joel's neighborhood is perfect and it's kinda become the house to come to on Halloween. The Devil Reject mask was working this year big time especially with the chainsaw. I had to leave the house and walk the streets most of the night because the little ones were scared to come up. And I don't think Joel and I broke character all night.

One of the best times I had was standing outde of someones plate glass window staring at them when they didn't have there light on to pass out candy. It either freaked them out or really pissed them off, lol! Plus we topped it off by letting my wife watch Paranormal Activity for the first time, she doesn't do well with exorcist type movies so needless to say it was a fun night! Just a great night. A little chilly with a sleeveless shirt on but well worth it.

Thanks everyone for the comments. We had a blast! Every year we try to do it bigger and better and this year was by far the best. Just the build up to Halloween was great this year. Hope everyone had a great time....

How many trick or treaters do you all normally have run through your area?

This year we had about 100, maybe a little more.

We lost a lot because rain was predicted (and never came) but I think that scared away a lot of parents.

We heard a lot went to indoor activities at local schools and colleges this year. In 2008 we had about 200 . .. . we had a great time either way but we thrive with larger audiences.

We always hand out the full zed candy bars (because I got screwed over one to many times as a kids and swore I'd make up for it by handing out only the good stuff).

Also, we give out glow necklaces (which go over huge) to promote safety . . . so the morons in cars doing 50 down our streets can see them.

I swear, Booman and myself saw more kids almost get hit this year because of idiot drivers doing 50 MPH down a 20 MPH roads.
