Great fan-made trailer

This is actually really good for a fan-made trailer.

I hope the guy gets the audition he wants.

My only problem is: This guy made this to show his love for the character and hopes to use it to get an audition, but we don't know what is going to be done with the remake, the filmmakers could be going in an entirely new direction with the series and the character so this tape might turn them off.

Still it is very good and scary and I hope the guy gets his shot.

I actually got chills during a few of those scenes with the flames coming off of Freddy.

I almost wish that this was footage from the actual film!

LOL! I know its a fake guys but I didn't want you to just dismiss it and not watch it because of that fact. The damn thing gives me BIG hope that this could actually be good. That is hands down the best fan made trailer I have ever seen. They need to let this Chris Johnson guy direct!

I completely agree Gummi! That was so well done. You could tell that the guy who made it really had a pason for NOES. This remake is the one that many of us think will crash and burn (no pun intended). But after seeing what little is to be seen here, it really raised the hair up on my arms and got me excited. We will see, but I loved the burnt left hand effect in the video and like you said the fact that Freddy is smoldering and on fire! I LOVE IT!

See that is the problem, this guy who is probably is no more than a fan will get it right and the studio will make it all CGI and crap. It's a shame this trailer isn't the real deal because when I first watched it I just got goosebumps.

freddy isnt some guy in a mask that can be replaced by whomever he is englund and thats what made the character great

Well, Freddy Smoldering in the flames had to'ev been cgi... Is there any chance that could'ev been a real trailer, only they deded to go with a cgi Freddy???

Boy that sounds like a shot in the dark, but that trailer was very impresve... Really makes me wonder... It looks a little to good... How could someone create all those scenes without some sort of Hi-Tech System and Camcorder???

I do agree with John Rambo on this one... No Englund, It will Suck!!! Englund is Freddy rather he likes it or not... He accepted the work of Freddy Krueger when he did all the films, the tv shows and interviews... I think he should'ev said the hell with it and did Freddy one more time... For Christ sakes he played Freddy in 8 Movies and god only knows how many TV shows... What the hell would 1 more movie'ev been to him???

Daeg would make a great teenage Jason
