HorrorBid's 2nd Annual Art Contest

It's that time of year again! All you fledgling artists out there it's time to show your art off to the entire horror community. This contest is open to anyone and everyone that loves horror and loves art. Any form of art will be excepted this year, pencil, pen, crayon, chalk, etc. We will also accept digital forms of art such as photography and graphic degn. The winner will have their artwork displayed on the HorrorBid and will get a horror DVD or Blu Ray movie of their choice.

Entering the contest is mple. You can enter up to (5) different pieces of artwork. Again it can be in any media form. To enter mple vit our forum, register if your not already a member and post your artwork right here!

You can use our photo attachment feature to upload your work or you can use an image uploading te such as tinypic.com, photobucket.com, or imageshack.us

CONTEST ENDS AUGUST 15th at 8PM EST.

Figured ide post something, I did this one not so long ago, its myself and a zombie.

I decided to actually join the te after I saw the contest posted on myspace. And to be quite honest, after looking around here for a bit, I'm glad I did.

Here are two inked pieces for now.

This is "Kinfolk"

And this is titled "TuHead"

Finished this up tonight. Started with a blank page did everything ung just a mouse in Photoshop.

OK how about this gn that I made for my shop? I did this with Wood and Trim. Put it all together and then painted everything by brush first. Then I clear coated it and went back over it with an airbrush to give it a feeling of depth and layers. Once I was done airbrushing, I then clearcoated it again, only this time thicker and heavier...

I only used Stencils on the eyeballs to make sure they were perfectly round. Everything else was done Free Hand...

We all took a vote decided in favor of Clownation. This was UBER hard to decided this year. With soooo many different mediums involved there were so many who deserved to win this thing. Next year we are definitely going to have to break it into categories.
