and because we had so much fun this weekend I figured I'd take a shot at DaShape himself...

I love The Office . . . at least the American veron; I've never actually seen the original British veron, although I did see a recent commercial about it being shown on The Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

I may have to check it out as I've heard a lot of arguments about which is better.

I have Seasons 1-5 on DVD and watch them all the time.

I look forward to every Thursday night.

I have to admit though that I was more into the whole Pam and Jim angle before they actually got together.

I guess it gave me something to look forward to . . . my god, I'm such a girl. What's your favorite episode?

I'd have to say mine would be the episode where Jim threw Andy's cell phone up into the ceiling tiles, and he and Pam kept calling it all day.

That was hysterical.

And yes, Pam is extremely hot in that "you know I may actually be able to get a girl like that" way.

I usually loathe sticoms and comedies but my wife who is an OFFICE freak got me hooked on it. It is so friggin funny and twisted. I love it. I actually laugh out loud.

Bridge that was pricless my friend! HONK HONK!!!! And Gum Drop that there beauty of a pic is from the movie Blades of Glory. When I watched the film I hadn't started watching the Office yet and I was floored by her even then, before I got to know her as Pam. Now the pic is even hotter.

Each day I think we should post a new office pic or statement, something funny.

It was a pretty disappointing day.

It was kind of a slap in the face, to realize that I wasn't as important as I thought I was to a certain young executive who I'd cared about.

But you know, I'm not going to cry over it.

For a long time I did not want to watch The Office because I was such a huge fan of the British Office … I suspected it could only be a cheap substitute. Maybe at first, that’s what it was. Then, to me, Our Office found its own voice, took off, became something different from the British one, something, I don’t know, more American maybe.

Now, I love it because … it’s all that stuff we’re talking about. I cannot categorize it as good or bad. It’s both. It’s smart and stupid. It’s lly and thoughtful. It’s measured and totally over the edge. It has a great office romance between Jim and Pam that has so far avoided the t-com cliches, the tired “OK, we’re broken up now, OK we’re back together now, OK, we’re broken up now,” goofiness. And it has the comic genius of Steve Carrell, who as Michael manages at different times to be your worst boss, your goofiest and most helpless friend and something entirely unique and unrecognizable.

I've never really been able to get into the American Office.

I actually got into the show late, but I'm a big fan. I rarely watch the new episodes on Thursdays, but watch the reruns to try to pick up on things I missed. I have Season One and Two on DVD and really need to get more! Funny freaking show! I laugh out loud every time I watch it! -G
