Monsters vs. Aliens Halloween Special

Now I haven't seen the movie Monster vs. Aliens before but I am a sucker for Halloween specials so I DVR'd this tonight and WOW was I surprised. I didn't know the characters very well but it didn't seem to matter. I loved the show. The theme was fantastic, the feeling of Halloween was there. They even played John Carpenter's Halloween theme which had me grinning from ear to ear, it turned out it was some guys cell phone right (it also happens to be my real life cell phone ring) and I thought it was brilliant. Aliens took over a pumpkin patch and the monsters had to fight the mutated pumpkins. If I was a kid I would have been in hog heaven and as an adult I still gave it a 10 out of 10. Seriously, it was that good.

A night after watching The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown I am waxing nostalgic for a mpler Halloween time but it was great to see something so new, something so cutting edge with the animation and computer graphics capture the true meaning of Halloween like the M vs. A special did....

I saw that while I was looking through the program guide, but I just skimmed right over it not realizing that it was a Halloween special.

Ahhhhh Gummi, I was hoping you caught it! I think you would have really dug it man. Just had the whole Trick or Treat theme down pat. If they show it again try to check it out!

my kids and I caught this last night and you're oh so right, it was fun top to bottom. if anyone needs a copy I may be able to burn it to disk on my computer just message me.

I may need a copy of this as me and the kids love Aliens Vs Monsters.

This was good! My son & I loved it! The Halloween muc as someones ring tone was nice! They should put it on DVD like they did the Merry Madagascar.
