Andrew Garfield Wearing Spider-Man Remake Suit

Columbia Pictures is afraid low-quality shots of the suit will begin appearing online.

As a result, the studio has decided to unveil the first official look at Garfield as Spider-Man. He's got scratches on his face, holding a book-bag and is wearing a new veron of the suit.

If you look closer at Garfield's wrists, you can see small metal discs, which means that Spidey will be ung mechanical web-shooters (like in the comics). So expect for the shooters to run out at some crucial times. In Sam Raimi's films, Spider-Man's webs were a product of the radioactive bite.

Question: What do you think of the new Spider-Man suit?

I don't think it looks all that bad. Personally I prefer the original comic book style, like the one Toby McGuire wore. But this one resembles that one with its own creative differences. After all you have to change the outfit so you have something new to market. That, and I'm sure the studio exec's don't want people to have their mind set on the old Spiderman when they're trying to bring in something new. I will give them this though, I do like the mechanical web shooters as opposed to the mutated ones.

Suit looks good! Im down with the mechanical web shooters as well. As a Spidey fanatic, Im eager to hear more about the film!

I think the suit looks pretty damn cool myself,As far as the mechanical web shooters, I have to agree as well, Deff dig them.

I am a huge Spidey fan so I'm very excited for this one. Love that the web shooters are back how they should be.

the ut looks cool but i still say he looks like a twihardpeter parker should always be a bit of a dork and tobey mcguire had the right look for it

No Offense to anyone who is looking forward to this movie, but it looks to be way too "Twilight" for me.I don't even know why they are remaking this so soon in the first place?? It's not that I'm against remakes at all. I Love the F13 remake, better than some of the originals imo. There are other remakes that I also think were well done and are in my DVD collection, but they weren't remade the next day after the original

The thing I liked about Tobey as Spidey is it all stayed failry true to the original. The costume is a very important part of the story for me personally and I don't like the Fruit Roll Up looking costume in this one or the string bean wearing it. Yes I'm a HUGE Spidey fan, but this isn't Spidey to me. Nick

I love knowing there is more Spiderman coming but the guy just doesn't fit as Parker to me. Tobey had the right look IMO and remaking it so soon drives me nuts. I do like the idea of the mechanical web shooters as it was in the comics. The suit is ok but I prefer Sam's veron more.
