HorrorBid's Ultimate HALLOWEEN Video Contest - Over $800+ Prizes

No one, and the 'Bid means no one, does Halloween quite like we do here at HorrorBid. Over the month of October you will see a barrage of Halloween related stories and news, articles and blogs, videos and artwork. The te will be consumed by All Hallow's Eve much like it has for the past 4 years during the month of October. Each year however, we try to one up ourselves, and this year is no different. To celebrate Halloween one must appreciate the holiday and we know you horror fans appreciate the holiday. As a result of that we also want to thank you for being apart of our community. Because of this we are rolling out one of the LARGEST contests in HorrorBid's history.

HOW TO ENTER:

Entering is mple. We want you Bidites to create a video that you then upload to YouTube and post that link right here below in this comment section. Don't worry if you're not sure how to embed the video, just provide the link and we will take care of the rest.

What should the video contain? Anything, and we mean anything, relating to Halloween. Whether it be the actual Halloween films themselves such as a movie collection, a fan-made movie, collectibles, posters, masks, props, figures, tattoos, etc. the list literally goes on and on. We want to experience your pason for Halloween and we want to see your collection filmed however you want to film it. Add muc, do a voice over or just let the camera roll.

The video can be 1 minute long or 10 minutes long. But please keep it to 10 minutes in length. Limit (1) video entry per user. Enter your video as soon as posble (please make sure "HorrorBid's Halloween Video Contest 2011" is somewhere in your video title) and on

October 31st at midnight e.s.t. we will pick the winners based on overall presentation, creativity and shock value.

Hey HorrorBid!!! great contest guys!just wanted to show my contest entery, i made this one very quick today, i hopefully will do it with a better camera if thats ok, but heres the video of my horror collection, Iv been collecting for around 4 years now and im only 15, I grew up with horror, nce my father works in the film industy iv always been obsessed with anything horror related!

as my fascination keeps growing so does the collection, i have blown just about my entire savings on this collection. As other kids play with trucks and toy dinosaurs, i was playing with severed heads and fake chainsaws. I collect many items such as masks, props, replicas, artwork, dvds, screen used props from movies and shows, but mostely now i collect custom figures. I even traveled to different Countrys just to go to horror and figure expo`s. Iv been a huge fan of your guys webte for years now! i check it everyday for any updates! also i love thepropshop they have the best myers masks out there! Im a huge fan of Caseys work! As a costume degner I am all about being as accurate as posble, but it is not always necessary to have fun and tell a good story. Reelybored accomplished that pretty well. ;)

thanks so much everyone for the kind words, and again, I apologize for not being screen accurate but I dont really dress up, the mask I have is just for display for the most and to scare my nieces and nephews. so in essence, just for fun :-)

HorrorBid's Halloween Video Contest 2011 Alright, heres my entry. Ive been workin on this nce the beginning of October. It was originally going to be another sequel to a series of Halloween fan films ive made over the last couple years, but some things fell through and we only got some stuff filmed.

The plot involved a satanic cult member bringing back michael myers, and someone moving into the Myers house. I decided to make this fake Red Band trailer instead and i think it turned out pretty good for a couple of kids right outta high school.BE SURE TO WATCH IN HD!

None of them were actors, and I'm certainly not a director, but there's an actual meaningful storyline. It's a lent black and white featuring muc by Liars. By the way, the day we threw it together in was yesterday.
