The upcoming FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME from Gun Media and IllFonic in partnership with Crystal Lake Entertainment has been making some big waves lately. We just recently learned that the game will indeed will be getting made which has fans of the franchise on the edge of their seats with excitement.
We know that Kane Hodder will reprise the role of Jason Voorhees via motion capture and that Tom Savini, Harry Manfredini, and Sean S. Cunningham are all on board with the project as well.
The makers of FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME have just released a sneak peek at some pre alpha/prototype gameplay footage (see below). It is very raw and by no means anywhere near being completed as it shows the early stages of what is to come.
"FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is an online, asymmetric multiplayer experience where one player will assume the role of Jason Voorhees against seven other players assuming the roles of camp counselors trying to survive the night."
FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is expected to be released in the fall of 2016, and will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
