Learn More Details On The New Characters For "Bates Motel" Season 2!

With a panel for "Bates Motel" participating at Comic-Con next weekend, there is much speculation that new information will be unveiled about season 2. In the meantime, there is confirmation that 3 new characters will be appearing in the next set of shows for us to be introduced to, including another family member.

"Here’s what executive producer Carlton Cuse recently told TV Guide about his plans for next season:

“We would be remiss if we didn’t meet some other members of the Bates family… I don’t want to say who, but we are definitely going to learn about their family tree, which has more twisty branches.” Nestor Carbonell also hinted that we’ll be learning more about Dylan’s father: “the big question mark is Dylan’s dad… There’s certainly a story to be told there.”

According to TVLine, the new characters include:

George, a recently divorced charmer in his late 40s who could be The One for Norma

Christine, a local socialite in her late 30s who becomes Norma’s first real friend

Caleb, Norma’s estranged fortysomething brother who comes to town to coax his little s into investing in a presumably shady buness venture.”

The second season of Bates Motel is expected to premiere in early 2014.
