Title Is Finally Revealed For THE WALKING DEAD Companion Series!

A while back, AMC officially greenlit a companion series for THE WALKING DEAD which has a lot of fans very curious as to what is going on there. Those of you who are ready for the new series will be interested in what we have for you now.

Creator Robert Kirkman finally revealed the name for the upcoming spin-off series via Twitter.



AMC has ordered two seasons of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD. The first season will consist of six one-hour episodes.

Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert will be executive producing the new series along with AMC Studios producing. Dave Erickson, who also serves as an executive producer takes on the title of showrunner.

The setting for the new series will be in Los Angeles and follows new characters as well as storylines. Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, and Alycia Debnam Carey are all set to star.



The plan is to air the first season later this summer and then air the second season in 2016.

Not much else is known at this point but more is expected soon as the first trailer for FEAR THE WALKING DEAD will debut after the 90-minute finale of THE WALKING DEAD this Sunday.
