It's no surprise that the fifth season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY subtitled HOTEL was a hit. This time around at the Hotel Cortez we witnessed even darker story lines along with loads of murder and deceit. With season five now in the history books, we bring you the very latest news pertaining the upcoming sixth season.

AHS showrunner Ryan Murphy previously made mention of Angela Bassett's involvement in the new season.



Bassett now further confirms this as she tells ET of her new character saying:

“I think I’m an alcoholic,” she laughed. “That’s all I know but I don’t know where, why, what made me so.”

We can now confirm that Lady Gaga will also be joining the cast of AHS season 6.



Gaga told New York's Z100 radio station that she will indeed be returning for next season saying:

"Yes. I can’t promise you how or when or anything like that.”

Lady Gaga won a Golden Globe for her performance as The Countess on AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL.

The as-of-yet untitled Season 6 of AMERICAN HORROR STORY will air on FX in the fall. We will continue to bring you more on the new season as it unfolds.
