News Regarding AMERICAN HORROR STORY MURDER HOUSE/COVEN Crossover Season!

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY has boggled minds and brought plenty of Horror for six seasons now. As we look ahead into the future, one can only wonder what other themed seasons await us there. AHS creator Ryan Murphy previously revealed that he has plans to combine two of the FX anthology series' previous themes for an upcoming "crossover" season.

With seasons seven, eight and nine all on the agenda, Murphy tells EW of the crossover idea saying:

“It’s a character from season 1 that will be thrust into the world that you are left with at the end of Coven, which is sort of like the male/female/witch academy. And then all of those characters will intertwine, which is confusing because some of them are from seasons 1 and 3.”

Murphy previously said of this idea that:

"It's not going to be next season, but we're going to do a season that's a crossover between 'Murder House' and 'Coven,' which is very bizarre."

This newly revealed planned season will feature characters from both installments. Murphy is already approaching actors about it to see if they will be available.

The first season of AHS, aka MURDER HOUSE, starred Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott, and Taissa Farmiga as a family who moved into a home with a dark past. While Season 3, AHS: COVEN was set in New Orleans and centered on a coven of Salem witches. It starred Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Frances Conroy and Jessica Lange.

Farmiga, Lange, Paulson and Evan Peters, all appeared in both seasons. It will be interesting to see if Murphy can talk Lange into returning one last time.

As of now, there is no word on what the theme for Season 7 will be.

We will continue to bring you all things AMERICAN HORROR STORY.
