Believe it or not I will be seeing this. Partly not by choice but I kind of did agree to do so months back with my ex. As much as I do enjoy the movies, they just aren't an accurate representation of what vampires and werewolves are.

I won't be seeing it until it comes out on dvd I hope this year. The first one was ok as my g/f took me to it telling me it was a vampire movie and never telling me it was some sappy love story type of flick. I personally don't see the huge love affair with this film and series.

I have the first one on dvd and have yet to watch it. Can anyone warn me in advance if it's as gay as I think it's going to be?

LMAO ^^^^

I'll wait for the bootleg...the first one was okay more for teenagers really I think. I liked the buffy series alot more lol. This new one at least looks more interesting then the first one was.

I will be going with my girlfriend and her friends. I wouldn't say I was a fan of the first film by any means but I thought the story held up well. The sparkling vampires is what really makes your stomach want to turn as a horror fan. Well wish me luck tonight at midnight.

I like and enjoy the love story very much but the ridiculousness of the vampire/wolf element just isn't right. If it weren't for that (and the teenage hype around it) I would fully enjoy it.

I have to admit that I'm looking forward to this one.

To my extreme surprise, I really enjoyed the first one.

Sure, it's got a lot of cheesy elements like the sparkling, but overall it was a fun movie.

I'll probably wait until it's been out a little while to avoid the throngs of screaming teenage girls, but I'll definitely see it eventually.

I liked the first one (also enjoyed the books) so I'll be seeing the new installment. It's sold out EVERYWHERE so it looks like I'll have to wait for a weekday/night sometime later this week.

Im a HUGE vampire fan/buff/collector etc. The TWILIGHT treatment of vampires isn't my favourite but we've had plenty of ck vampire films (NEAR DARK; 30 DAYS;); clasc style vampire films (INTERVIEW; DRACULA) as well as dozens of films through the decades. The fact that the TWILIGHT vamps are different doesn't bother me. Its a difference thats all.

We've talked about this before but I really don't see why people get so worked up over this series. Why does it seem to threaten people. It makes teen age girls and some house fraus giddy....who cares.

I have not seen it but from watching all the people leaving the theater the other day and hearing what i did they were all very happy. I must say i am curious as to what others from here thought nce it would be from more "horror" fans then the average joe.
