BooMan and his Nightmare Man '78

this is my official first ever Nightowl Production Myers mask and frankly I am stunned. I have known Justin and his work for nearly a decade now and I knew what a fantastic mask maker he was. I ordered this mask a few months back eagerly wanting some of Justin's best work. Well I just got it. I can't say enough about this mask. I really can't. First out of the box you will notice how thick Justin pours, it just had that weight in your hands that you look for in a quality mask. Second thing that drew me in was the paint and hair, WOW! The paint job has this really aged look without being heavily weathered. The paint almost seems as if it is cracking yet the mask is very stretchy and the paint as well. Third thing and this one I was a bit worried about was the ze. I opted for the large veron as I have a melon head, LOL! Sometimes I find while ordering larger masks especially Myers is that not only do the larger pulls seem to loose a bit of detail but they also seem 1 step off. Something just doesn't seem quite perfect about them. Well again this is not an issue, the mask looks just like every picture I have ever seen. Lastly and this is always my true test with any mask period. Does the mask look better in person than in pictures......YES!

I have a NMM78 Returns and I totally agree with the nice "heft" issue.

Just feels profesonal in a way others often don't.

I have one of these in the works right now and now I'm more stoked than ever to receive it!

not a real fan of the myers masks as most of you know, but that is really quite nice...but then again, most of what Mr. Mabry puts out is quite nice.

I have one question though....why do you, Justin, always have to refer to yourself in the third person in all your topic titles?

I can just imagine you tting around the house saying " The Booman wants another beer"....the Booman has to take a dump"....but then again...maybe i am the only one bored enough and sad enough to have noticed this. If that is the case...then please just ignore me...

LOL! Tommy your quite right on both of those points. Justin literally doesn't put out anything bad, he mply won't do it I have heard. And as far as BooMan goes, yeah he tends to do that a lot. Not really sure why to be honest other than the fact that everyone knows Justin Mabry in this community and people used to get us confused often so I always lead with BooMan. If I had to really put some thought into it I would say I do it to sort of keep my PC/horror life separated from "buness as usual" regular everyday life. I'll go see if I can find BooMan and ask him Later Boo, er Justin

Tommy I know your not a big Myers fan but if you haven't owned a Myers mask from Justin (not me) get one, seriously can't stop staring at this one....

i was actually worried that you would take my post the wrong way, so i am very glad that you got a kick out of it. I have owned very few myers period, regardless of who has made them, but i have owned some of Justin's other pieces, so i can safely say every ngle one i have ever owned as of the most outstanding quality....

LOL! Tommy this may be a good time to let all you guys know this as I forget often that many of you know computer Justin and not the real Justin. I am a HUGE and I don't say that lightly, jokster. I am always "on" so to speak. I love to laugh and love to have a good time so I rarely take things the wrong way. I always look at the funny de of things. I do realize however that nce things being read sometimes get taken literally or can be taken the wrong way that I do need to caution myself sometimes as I tend to goof a lot and sometimes you guys may take it the wrong way. If this every does happen please PM me and let me know as honestly I don't have an enemy in the world and don't want any so if anything I ever type sounds wrong or you think I may be on my on planet on a post please let me know.

Sorry to post this here but I have been meaning to touch base on this topic. I conder each of you guys not just friends but good friends. So I feel as if I can say or do just about anything and sometimes that probably isn't the greatest approach.

Back to the topic at hand. Justin is the bee's knees, his masks are truly one of a kind. It is nice to know that a guy I let borrow my Jason goes to Hell mask back in 1999 and mold to learn the process has turned out to be a premiere mask maker in this community. Just amazing work....

Some quick worn shots I took in front of the old mirror, this mask kicks ass and remember I have a melon head! Just makes this thing that much cooler in my department....

The mask rocks J. I also like to joke around a bit so it's good to have someone who understands around!

I have a trade going on for one of these so if it gos through I will be happy as the night owl masks rock.

Its weird I put the damn thing on and the mouth goes perfectly crooked and everything yet the thing is setting straight on my head, not sure why but hey, it looks cool
