With SCREAM 4 hitting theaters this weekend the long wait is finally here. Like the series or not, it has had a huge impact on our genre and revitalized the horror world when it first related in 1996. It breathed life into horror that was direly needed at the time.
Some may argue that it lead to many knockoffs that in turn hurt the genre but horror being shows to audiences regardless of how "poppy" or "corny" it may be, it still turns fans onto the world that we love. SCREAM 2 and the following 3rd film may not have had the same success that the original film did but proved to still be big time contenders at the box office.
With all that said. Will SCREAM 4 be the mega hit that the horror world is hoping for? Take our poll and let us know your thoughts. Below is a run down of the our trilogy and their box office numbers.
