The Collective, a full-service entertainment management and content company, along with AMC Theatres (AMC), a leading theatrical and exhibition company, and popular horror webte BloodyDisgusting.com, have partnered to acquire and distribute the best new horror and thriller titles from the festival and international markets to AMC theatres across America. Here’s the “summer slab” –the team’s selection of horror titles for summer movie guides and individual review, opening once a month all summer long!
· YellowBrickRoad: June 1st, 2011 - Produced by Eric Hungerford, directed and written by Andy Mitton and Jesse Holland, and starring Casdy Freeman (SMALLVILLE), Anessa Ramsey (THE GNAL), and Lee Wilkof (BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOUʼRE DEAD). In the Fall of 1940, the entire population of Friar, NH abandoned their homes and walked up an ancient trail, never to be seen alive again. Their fates have remained a mystery for over 70 years, until a team of researchers discover the trailhead and attempt to track the path the doomed citizens of Friar took.
