FAST FIVE Director Justin Lin on Directing TERMINATOR 5

Talks have already been swirling already heard that Justin Lin (FAST FIVE) has been in talks to direct the TERMINATOR 5 that has Arnold Schwarzenegger attached to star and may of the original cast.

The director has now revealed how the project came together.

"It's actually Pacificor (rights owner) that approached me," he explained. "They had an idea, but I guess a lot of studios didn't go for it or something happened. So then, they came back to me and they said, 'Do you have an idea?' and I said 'I have THE idea!'"

Lin then met with Schwarzenegger, who quickly agreed to board the film much to the delight of the fans. The director was then given permison to begin shopping the project to studios.

But what was Lin's billion dollar idea that landed him the job? He doesn't go into detail, but apparently it's all about focung on telling the human de of the story.

"It's still very early on, but I don't want to make a movie where it's just showing off ," he said. "I want to support the human elements. If you don't have humanity, then it just becomes robots."
