First Look at ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER

Many of you will remember our article a few months ago about this film. Director Tim Burton (every Johnny Depp movie ever made) acquired

the rights to produce the novel created by Seth Grahame-Smith titled ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER. Sounds kick ass right?

"Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter," starring Benjamin Walker, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, has been filming for some time.

Thanks to WorstPreviews.com, we have a synops and the first image from the film.

The new movie follows Lincoln (Walker) from his boyhood on the frontier through his assasnation by John Wilkes Booth and — because this is a vampire story — beyond.

Young Lincoln, having learned that his grandfather and mother were killed by vampires, vows to kill every last blood-sucker in a country that is crawling with them. On realizing that vampires are tangled in the slave trade, Lincoln's resolve grows and takes on a moral dimenon. To complicate matters he also learns that the creatures come in two varieties, good and bad.

For now, director Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) is not ready to reveal what the vampires will look like, but promises something "unexpected."
