Matthew Goode In Talks For STOKER
Guess this is good news for actor Matthew Goode! The Watchmen star is in talks to star as the male lead role in Chan-wook Park’s (Oldboy) pic of Stoker.
With Mia Wakowska and Nicole Kidman already on board, the story follows a teenage girl (Wakowska) who, while mourning the death of her father, must deal with the unexpected appearance of a mysterious uncle (Goode).
Goode beat out several actors for the part including James Franco, Joel Edgerton, Michael Fassbender and Colin Firth.
Prison Break star Wentworth Miller penned the script under the pseudonym Ted Foulke. Flick is produced by Tony and Ridley Scott through their Scott Free banner along with Michael Costigan. Fox Searchlight will distribute.
