Tons of New FRIGHT NIGHT Remake Pictures Have Landed

August 19th kids is the date the Dreamworks pictures revamps the cult clasc FRIGHT NIGHT while adding a new spin to the familiar territory. Things aren't always what they seem but as the release date grows nearer and nearer for this reboot we as genre fans can't say we aren't intrigued to see what the studio has cooked up for us this time. Feast on the new images below.

Plot Synops: Senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all—he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. In fact, he’s so cool he’s even disng his best friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right—and everyone, including Charlie’s mom (Toni Collette), doesn’t notice. After witnesng some very unusual activity, Charlie comes to an unmistakable concluon: Jerry is a vampire preying on his neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone that he’s telling the truth, Charlie has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror clasc.

I loved the 80's clasc and it's sequel and im excited to see this reboot.

Being such a strong fan of the original and it's cheesy sequel, I wasn't sure if I was even going to see it. Now the trailer and pics have got me excited. It's like when I found the original. Now I'm looking forward to seeing what was done with it. I think it will be good and sort of an homage to the original.
