DreadCentral is reporting that Uwe Boll has focused on a little known 1998 video game called "Zombie Massacre," which was somewhat milar to the famous PC game "Doom."
Boll has decided not to direct this one, but just produce. Instead, the new movie will be directed by Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, who just made the recent low-budget zombie movie "Eaters" for him.
While no official plot for the film has been given the synops for the video game is below.
"Zombie Massacre" is a driving/shooting game for up to four players. The goal is to drive a fully-armed nuclear warhead into the center of a city overflowing with zombies. After depoting the weapon, players will then have to make it out of the city just as quickly as they entered it before the warhead detonates.
Boll said. "I want to make this movie more creepy than 'House of the Dead,' which was intended to be funny and campy," said Boll. "I'd like 'Zombie Massacre' to be a harsh zombie movie like '28 Days Later.'"
Here is the artwork for the teaser poster below and what many are calling the "Freddy krueger Zombie" look.
