WWE Gets Rights To Post-Apocalyptic Survival Flick "THE DAY"

WWE Studios has announced they have acquired distribution rights the post-apcolyptic survival flick The Day. The film premiered back at the Toronto International Film Festival to a sold-out crowd. WWE Studios Predent, Michael Lui, stated "The Day is a renegade thrill-ride that will not disappoint audiences," he then continued to say "We went to Toronto looking for films to showcase and expand the WWE Studios brand and found exactly that with Doug’s exceptional film,"

The film comes from director Doug Aarniokoski, who is currently directing Nurse 3D,and follows Shawn Ashmore, Ashley Bell,Dominic Monaghan Cory Hardrict, Andrew Coutts and Shannyn Sossamon as they try to survive in a post-apocolyptic society.
