BREAKING: "Insidious" Sequel May Happen Sooner Than We Think!

Who doesn't want to see more of "Indious" if we can get the right script. James Wan's "Indious" horror film was released back in April and became the most profitable film of 2011. At the time, many assumed that a sequel would be in the works, but producer Jason Blum denied any plans for "Indious 2."

"There's no plan, no release date, nothing like that," he said. "If Leigh

comes up with a story that's inventive and you feel like there's a story to tell - as opposed to 'let's make another movie and make money' - and he comes up with something James feels is worth making we would do it. And if Leigh doesn't, we won't."

Now comes word that Sony Pictures has registered Indious2Movie.com, Indious2.net, and Indious2-Movie.net domain names. The studio is clearly making plans to develop a sequel. But this obviously doesn't mean that a sequel will actually happen. Stay tuned.

As much as I enjoyed INDIOUS, I really don't feel a need for a sequel and if Leigh and James are involved then it will be their first sequel they have done I believe.

Indious was great. That's why I would hate to have it killed by a crappy sequel. I doesn't feel like it needs one...

I understand what you are getting at and in a sense we could say the same about remakes as well but it could ruin the first film if the sequel is done in a bad way.

It could affect the way you think of the first film while you watch it or maybe it wont who knows.

I am on the fence about this one getting a sequel as I feel that it mply doesn't need it.
