Stephen King has been slaying the horror landscape for well over three decades. He’s crafted some beautifully horrific fiction, and subsequently seen a great deal of those stories transferred to screen, be it big or small (or even mple short films). Knowing the man’s body of work, I began to ponder: could I actually rank every ngle film transfer the man has spawned, and further more, have actually seen every one of them?After some research, and compiling a list of every film to be based upon King’s work I reached a concluon, quickly. There’s not a chance in hell I can accurately rank this obnoxiously zeable film catalogue. Maximum Overdrive's #1, I'll tell you that

IT is and always will be, numbero uno! Probably my second favorite is The Shining (mini series). Other than that they really can't be ranked. There are just so many and each one has its own ups and downs.

That is true. Not many people out there liked Stephen King's THE SHINING, but I thought it was good. Stephen King himself didn't really care for Stanley Kubrick's veron, he thought that they eliminated Jack's struggle with his drinking problem in which they did, and he also thought that Jack was way to crazy than what he was in the book.

Theres one thing that is kinda odd is that all of the films that Stephen King did personally like his verong of Children of the Corn, Carrie, The Shining, etc. ROSE RED is probably the only one that isn't a book. But The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer is... i thought it was a good read

Wow I never realized the amount of great movies are from Stephen King until I see a list of them all. The best of all is Pet Sematary and Stand By Me.

1985 - lver Bullet Zelda from Pet Semetery, Pennywise the clown and that fuckin beast in "The Crate." were three of the scariest horror characters I came across growing up… Outde of the whole Jason, Freddy, Pinhead class of fiends… And of course a notible nod to Jack...For all work and no play makes Jack a Dull Boy...
