I recently, like within the last couple of months, purchased a haunted doll. Her name is Margaret. I haven't gotten any EVP from her yet though I am told this can take some time as they some times have to take some time to get comfortable in new surroundings. However, we have experienced some activity from her. She likes to play with the TV and one night while Matt was sleeping he actually felt the bed move as if I have moved, but when he looked over at me I was in the exact potion I was in when he came to bed. He had been in Baltimore for several days and I wasn't paying much attention to her while he was gone nce I was doing stuff with the new house. I think she mply wanted someone to acknowledge her.

Below are some pictures of her. A lot of people are creeped out by her, but I think she is beautiful and I absolutely adore her.

First of all id like to thank, booman and anyone else who had part in putting this together! this is a neat add on to the horrorbid te.

I am from Virginia which is well know to have " paranormal " activity... as far of my personal beliefs of the existance of such things, maybe... maybe not... I have had a few unexplained tuations happen throughout my life; yet, just because something is enigmatic doesnt make is paranormal. I am very well versed regarding the ghost stories of the south eastern virginia area as well as jamestown, portsmouth, etc. If anyone is interested in talking about it feel free to hit me up. I also can suggest some awesome books, one of which has a couple pages written by me.

Would love to go back to VA. I didn't experience so much paranormal stuff, just an overall feeling if that makes any sense. I would love to know your book recommendations. I constantly have my nose in a crack (of a book, that is).

I have a new doll that deathringup won for me on eBay!! She is uber creepy and precious at the same time. I still have quite a few hours of recording to go through to find the EVP. If I find something I will post it in the EVP thread. But for now, I will post pics so you can see how awesome she is. Her story is she is eight years old and was killed with her parents in a collion of a train and her parents' car in the 70's. The doll itself was found at the scene. She has a loose neck which causes her head to flop around. She has been heard (not by me YET) humming, crying, and saying things like "Ginger scared." She also has a fascination with doors. She likes to open them (again, I have yet to witness this). So without further ado I present to you Margaret's new friend, Ginger.

I wish I could take credit for the beautiful pics, but they were taken by the seller.

This story happened to me in my second year of being in the Navy, and made a believer out of me.

I'll never forget that night...

While in Japan, my barracks was being painted and they had scaffolding up outde our windows.

One night I woke up out of a dead sleep and saw a black shape of a man in the corner of my room, stepping back and forth... looking at my collection.

I lay watching it for a good while, waiting for my eyes to adjust, hoping that it was just my eyes playing tricks with me.

But I waited, and nothing changed. So I sat up, thinking that maybe some drunk sailor came into the room through the window.

I said something to him, telling him that it was ok if he did come in through the window... that he was in the wrong room and I would help him find his room.

The shape stopped moving and backed up into the corner, as it did so I saw it pass through a ray of moonlight that was coming through the window... only it held it's dark shape.

The hair on my neck pricked up, in fact... just talking about it right now gives me the creeps.

I knew at that moment that I was indeed in the presence of a spirit.I stood up carefully, wanting desperately to go for the light switch... out of panic really, some stupid belief that in the light I would be safe.

But as I did so, the shape aggresvely stepped back out towards me... showing his full body as he did so.

I freaked and ran for the light, seeing the dark shape rush me as I did so....

I flicked the light on... and nobody was there, just me and my dead asleep roommate.

I sat in the lit room for 2 hours unable to sleep, and I worked the next day tired as a dog. When I told my squadron mates about it, they thought I was crazy, until our chief got wind of it and told us that he'd heard stories too.

That our Barracks has had reported hauntings over the last few decades, that all of the descriptions matched, and it was only our barracks.

I went online years later, and found a webte that had chronicled various hauntings in the world.

My barracks, Building #465 or 480 in Atsugi, Japan was listed. It said that the ghost was supposedly a Marine that committed suicide there, and that many people had witnessed the same black shape of a man... haunting the halls, looking for his room.

I still sleep with the covers over my head thanks to that experience, and I never doubt the existence of ghosts anymore.... That crap scarred me for life.
