Lin Shaye Speaks About 'Insidious: Chapter 3'!

With Indious fever flowing all throughout the air, horror fans around the world are excited with the big announcement of "Indious: Chapter 3". From the red carpet at the Eyegore Awards which took place at Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights, Bloody Disgusting was able to speak to Lin Shaye briefly, who plays Elise in the franchise, about "Indious: Chapter 3".

If you’ve seen the second film, you know that she’ll figure into the new installments in a very unique way. Bloody Disgusting:

"So now we get to talk about Indious 3!"

Lin Shaye:

"I’m so excited about it. Boy that was quick, wasn’t it? Like the next minute they announced it! I feel, and we all hope, that Elise has a lot of stories to tell inde of her. Leigh Whannell is going to be writing the third installment…"

BD:

"And maybe directing?"

Shaye:

We don’t know, but if he did it would be awesome because nobody knows more about it than he does on that level. But I’m sure whoever they decide on . And James Wan will have input in terms of his senbility about the stories. I love all these people, all of them. James is a master and he’s just beginning to open up in that sense.

BD:

So will Elise be in The Further then? Will that world be expanded even more?"

"I have no idea. I saw Leigh the other night actually and he’s still throwing ideas around in his mind too. And if I have any thoughts, I’ll throw in my 2 cents when I have the opportunity.
