POLTERGEIST & Yet Another PLANET OF THE APES Movie News!

The new POLTERGEIST movie will be a new take on the original as a family struggling to make ends meet relocates to an outdated suburban home and is confronted by an angry spirit. Then the youngest daughter is kidnapped by the spirit which challenges them to band together to rescue her from the clutches of evil.

Starring in the parent roles are Sam Rockwell and Rosemarie DeWitt who play the Bowens. The children of the family will be played by Saxon Sharbino, Kennedi Clements, and Kyle Catlett. Jared Harris will be playing a star from a television show called Haunted House Cleaners. Jane Adams will be portraying a parapsychologist who comes in to try and help the Bowen family.

POLTERGEIST will be released into to theaters on Friday, February 13th, 2015.



Switching gears things must really be great with the current progress of the upcoming DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES film as Fox has greenlit the idea of yet another installment. This next film will see Matt Reeves returning to direct once again and a release date has already been set for the third flick while the second one still awaits it's release this summer.

Referred to at this time as PLANET OF THE APES 3, the film has a release date set now for July 29th, 2016.

This summer's DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES will be released July 11, 2014.
