KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE Looking To Make A Comeback

Remember just how much fun the 1988 film KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE was? You had popcorn ray guns, cotton candy pods containing dead bodies, and last but not least giant clowns with the want to kill. For a long time now there have been rumors galore of a possible sequel to the flick and although it has seemed close at times we now know that a sequel is looking like it will probably never happen. This was confirmed by Charles Chiodo, stating that MGM didn't feel that there was enough fan interest to make cause for a sequel.

All is not lost however, as the Chiodo brothers are toying with the idea of taking the Killer Klowns and converting them over to a TV series. Rather than taking the web series route they would like to go through the network. However this is only an idea that the brothers are interested in doing. There are no official plans to do so since MGM own the rights to the Klowns and appear to have no interest.

Still, not giving up, the brothers Chiodo are tossing around the possibility of creating a brand new original clown Horror film which would have no ties to KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE. This would free them from MGM who hold the decisions of their current Klown fate. It all boils down to what MGM decides to do as to what will take place.
