If there is a sequel, it should only be directed by Rob Zombie.

I know I'm in the minority here (maybe the only one), but I liked Zombie's take on Halloween.

I hope now nobody wants to do the sequel. The fisrt was bad, the second will be worst.

I was entertained by the first one as well Snoballz. We are in the minority I know.

I liked Rob Zombie's Halloween. It will NEVER replace the Original, but it wasn't a bad movie and I was hoping for a sequel... I agree with Snowballz on this, It should be directed by Rob Zombie... I think thats the only way to keep it on the same track...

Bring the Zombie back for sure!

I think he is one of the only few people to be able to actually pull of a successful remake.

Well not really remake, just his view of the story of michael myers.

I'll tell you guys right now. The 2 director's that were attached to do this, and have nced bailed, is a bad thing. Go watch the French movie, "INDE, and you'll see what you'll be misng. These guys are far and away more talented then RZ could ever dream to be.

So rather you liked or disliked Zombie's Halloween you can't deny that another Halloween film is good for buness . .. and not just for Hollywood but the Mask community in general.

This means a new mask and months of anticipation. So should another Halloween film be made based on if you want the series to continue or not?

that's up in the air depending on your opinion but should another be made based on the economics?

uhhhh yeah it should.

I'm sorry Joel, but we can't agreed that make Myers a dumbass is a good way to make a great film or be a great director. The same way, Hollywood can't mess around with all good stories for money. IF RZ Halloween was good enough, why the most of the fans really hate it? I don' think RZ is a good director, same as his movies are not good, while horror movies. House of 1000 bodies were a shit, as Rejecteds.. too! How many films we will to watch and how many RZ will have to kill untill we can see he isn't in the right place? Go play muc, god damn it! At least NOW someone from the CINEMA is going to fix the shit RZ did to Halloween story, so, let it go...

The only thing I disliked about the RZ Halloween was the loss of the Boogeyman mythology, he didn't seem like "The Shape" but more like a lunatic with a knife.

A lot of the "magic" of the character was lost as the background was told.

It was far creepier to me that this seemingly nice boy one night suddenly killed his ster for no discernable reason.

The mystery of the character and what force drives him to murder always intrigued me.

I hated to see that go, so that really bothered me about the remake.

I also didn't like that a lot of the stalking went bye bye, and the ending was a bit too much to me...

But overall I still liked it.

I wish the French directors would have stayed on, I was looking forward to their take on things.

Whatever happens, I will be there.

I just hope they are able to fix some of what was misng from the remake...
