**Horror Tournament** FREDDY VS. MYERS

This is FUN old school forum game we use to play back in the day. We have to go through all the horror icons and have rounds of who's better and why.

Alright guys round one, vote for who you prefer and explain why you feel they are better than the other (I need ya to be as detailed as posble)....

We need 100% message board participation here, everyone please weigh in

Freddy Krueger VS.

Michael Myers

I'm going to vote for Freddy and only because I think I'll be the only vote the clawed one gets LOL.

Sorry Fenner, but going to need more than that ^^. Has to be a detailed why and how they are better than the other. It makes you choose and really think about it. Wait till we get down to the end of this, it gets tough but they are always fun or at least it use to be back in the olden days, LOL!.....

Back to tournament time......

Well, here's the deal.

Freddy strives on fear. Obviously, Michael is fearless so...

Michael wins. Plus, Myers is accountable for the deaths of limitless victims, while Freddy is only accountable for the deaths of those who dream about him (and a huge rise in sales of red/green striped apparel). Not to mention that (from a film POV) Myers is real and Krueger is fake.

I am going to say Freddy because he can kill you in your dreams. He even loves small smooth skinned children as well and that makes him super cool. His right hand is pretty sweet and it has some sharp claws. He has a sense of humor about him and his laugh is great. He can turn into things while myers cant. You cant kill him. All in all Freddy is pretty impresve. More people on the street will remember his name before myers due to the fact most people are afraid of what they cant control in a dream.

Bacally, yes, Freddy strives on fear, and michael isn't afraid of anything (that we know of), and in one of the freddy's, when someone didn't believe in them he couldn't hurt them (I don't remember which one). Plus, I have never seen Michael sleep.

i will have to go with myers on this one and here is why. myers is this unstoppable driving force. he lurks in the shadows and you can never be sure what he is thinking. there is no nce of humor with myers but you have this fear of a myers because you don't know what is going on behind his mask. he could be smiling for all we know, maybe the guy enjoys killing. freddy is great, don't get me wrong, but if i had to choose then myers all the way.

plus myers paved the way for guys like freddy and jason

HI MY NAME IS GEOFF. I SAW AN ADD FOR THIS FORUM IN A MAGAZINE AND THOUGHT I WOULD DROP BY. I FIGURED WHAT BETTER FOR YOUR FIRST POST THAN A TORUNY SO HERE GOES.

FREDDY IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO AT LEAST FOR ME AND HERE IS MY ARGUMENT. FREDDY IS A GUY THAT REALLY INSTILLS FEAR INTO ONES VERY SOUL. JUST IMAGINE IF THESE TWO WERE "REAL" WHO WOULD YOU BE MORE AFRAID OF. IT WOULD BE FREDDY ALL THE WAY. MYERS IS SCARY BUT MORE IN A SERIAL KILLER NUTCASE IS ON THE LOOSE TYPE THING. FREDDY IS ALMOST SATAN IN A SENSE, HE IS JUST PURE EVIL THAT LIKES TO HAVE FUN.......NOW THAT IS SCARY. AT LEAST TO ME.

HOPE TO BE ON HERE FROM TIME TO TIME, LOOKS LIKE A FUN BOARD AND HOPE NO ONE IS OFFENDED BY MY STANCE

From a film POV (only ung what is given to us from the movies, not on hypothetical tuations), only one is real. Michael... and you don't have to "imagine" Myers for him to kill you.



I love Freddy as much as the next guy, but in this case I think MICHAEL has to be "better". Of course... it's all based on people's opinions.

did anyone forget the ass whoopin he laid on Jason? Jason is lucky he won that fight (or did he win.........)

if Freddy did that yo Myers i dont think hed get back up. not too mention im sure he could find Michael's deepest darkest fears when it comes to his family and whatnot.

that and Freddy is THE Henny Youngman of horror lol

When you asked us to say which one you thought was "better", did you mean which one we liked the best? Because if so... Bisco's vote would have gone the other way. If you meant which one would win in a fight (which I suspect Bisco's vote was based on), we have to know that. Which is it... overall best or overall most-capable?

I'm making this shit waaaaaay too technical. I think I just can't stand the race being so close.
