HalloweeN in full 3D

well not quite yet anyway but according to many in hollywood 3D is coming back and with a vengeance. We will still have to wear the goofy glasses but I have read where they are saying the glasses no longer cause headaches and eye strain like in the past. They are perfecting the glasses and technology and I believe 5 or 6 movies that come out this year, mainly Disney and animated movies, will be in full 3D.

So that got me thinking. With the love for revamping a series and repackaging things companies know sell and sell well. Will we see some of our favorite horror franchises go 3D? This technology is also supposed to go well with todays HD TV's. Is it only a matter of time?

if you ask me i think a nightmare on elm street would be THE perfect movie for 3D.

imagine all the dream sequences in 3D with Freddy mesng with everyone. i think that would be great. if they did that i would forgive them for the end of freddys dead

Bisco your absolutely right and I never thought about it but Freddy would transfer perfect to 3D. I actually think it may even make a movie like that better, wow that may be too hard of a line, how about scarier? I say bring it on. I am all for them revamping them but damnit it better be good. With the technology being what it is today. A full horror 3D experience may be just what the doctor ordered.

Evil Dead in 3D? OHHH %$&# YEAH!!!! Good? Bad? I'm the guy with the gun!

I love how people seem to be reverting to the old-fashioned style of doing things. That really tickles me for some reason.

As for full 3D horror features... I can dig it (in moderation...)!

I read/saw this also. The problem is that the new 3D movies are shot with a different kind of camera. So I don't think you can really take the older movies and do a good job turning them 3D...
