2 Myers Masks....

Alright I have seen this picture about a dozen times and it just hit me. Why are there 2 '75's in this pic, one looking like H2 and one H1? I am sure this has been talked about before but someone please enlighten me?

Yep, I can see it now. To answer your question, the mask on the left in the photo, was the HERO mask, while the one on the right was one of the 3 back-up masks, who's where a bouts are unknown.

The last anyone ever saw of the backup masks, was when JC's band "The Coupe Devilles" were playing somewhere, and they played while wearing the masks. It could be that his former band member's kept the masks.

I guess we'll never know.

Funny how those guys just used the masks in a band while we'd put them in a museum to never be touch by human hands.

What's just as funny is we eagerly spend hundreds of dollars on a replica of a mask that originally cost $1.98

Another thing to keep in mind when wondering why these masks look different is that they were thin pulls and the look varied depending on the ze and shape of the wearer's head.

Exactly. If more people would understand that it's the person's head, and not the mask itself, that gives it the look. If that could be drilled into anyone and everyone who is a fan of this piece, I can assure you, we wouldn't have the back and forth bickering that we have when it comes to this mask.

It's a shame.
